Gridferry Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Nicholas Syrianoudis ("we", "us") for your use of the Gridferry add-on for Google Sheets ("the Service"). By installing or using the Service you agree to them. If you use it for an organisation, you confirm you may bind that organisation.
1. What the Service does
Gridferry copies records from a table in your Airtable base into the Google spreadsheet you have open (one-way sync). It reads your Airtable data with read-only permissions and never changes it. Edits you make to synced columns are replaced on the next sync. Gridferry is compatible with Airtable and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Airtable or Google. Airtable and the Airtable trademark are registered trademarks of Formagrid Inc dba Airtable.
2. Accounts you need
You need your own Google account and your own Airtable account. You sign in to Airtable through Airtable's OAuth page. You must not share access or use the Service to give people without their own Airtable account access to Airtable data. Your use of Airtable and Google remains subject to their terms, including Airtable's plan limits (for example its monthly API call limits), which the Service does not bypass.
3. Plan
- Free plan: 1 base, 1 table, up to 1,000 records per table (a table with more records cannot be synced on Free; your sheet is not changed and the attempt does not count as a sync), and 30 syncs per calendar month (they reset on the 1st of each month, UTC). No payment details are needed.
- Gridferry is free. There is no paid plan. If we add one, we will update these terms and you will only be charged if you choose to subscribe.
- Features that are not available today (for example scheduled sync) are not part of any plan until we announce them.
4. Acceptable use
You must not: use the Service to break the law or anyone's rights; try to circumvent plan limits or Airtable's or Google's limits; overload, probe or reverse-engineer the Service; use it to sync data you have no right to use; or resell the Service.
5. Your data
Your Airtable data and your spreadsheet content stay yours. You give us only the permissions needed to run the Service as described in our Privacy Policy (https://plankfoundry.com/gridferry/privacy/). We do not sell your data. You are responsible for who can see your spreadsheet once data is synced into it.
6. Availability and changes
The Service depends on Airtable's and Google's APIs, which can change, limit or stop access at their discretion. We may change or discontinue features.
7. Security incidents
We maintain an incident-response runbook. For incidents involving Airtable data we notify Airtable within 48 hours as its Developer Terms require, and we notify you where the law requires (see the Privacy Policy).
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that every sync completes or that the spreadsheet will always match your base; keep your own source of truth in Airtable. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer laws that cannot be excluded.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to US$50, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses or lost data or profits. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law (for example for fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence).
10. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling it and revoking access (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or if Airtable or Google requires it.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA. Disputes go to the courts of Mahoning County, Ohio. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of, and may bring claims in, the country where you live. No arbitration clause.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We post changes on this page and update the "Last updated" date. We announce material changes in the add-on or on its listing at least 30 days before they take effect where possible, and never less than 7 days before. Changes required by law or needed for security can take effect immediately.
